Past Work
Viking Training Camp, Epic Universe
I wrote the titles, categories, classes, and descriptions for the activities in the playground on the Isle of Berk. The concept was that Fishlegs, the most bookish of the Vikings, had created these signs based on his dragon trading cards seen in the films. Each of these activities was designed to teach newcomers how to be a dragon rider.
Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, Epic Universe
I wrote much of the words on the chalkboards in the queue of Dark Universe's E-ticket attraction, Monsters Unchained. I researched for weeks about human anatomy, prosthetics, and animal substitutions to construct how a 21st century Frankenstein's monster might be designed.
If you happen to be stuck in the queue when the ride breaks down, you will also hear the announcements I wrote, such as: "Attention, lab rats! We are having some...technical difficulties. The experiment will be slightly delayed. The Doctor appreciates your patience."
Fyre Drill, Epic Universe
In the queue and attraction path of Fyre Drill, guests see graffiti left by Ruffnut and Tuffnut, who are in charge of the fire safety program. I wrote many options for these, emphasizing the twins' competitive nature by taunting each other and the guests, who must join one of their teams during the ride. Because riders are soaked and roasted in equal measure, there were many fire and water puns as well.
